Flashback - December 2nd 2000 - Cybersquatting: first decision of the WIPO
Friday, 08 December 2006
In December 2nd 2000, the newly created Mediation and Arbitration center of the WIPO settled the first litigation that came before the organization. The case concerned a fraudulent domain name registration infringing the legitimate rights and the owner of a trademark.

The name "world wrestling federation.com", registered before an Official Organism in Melbourne, Melbourne IT (authorized by Icann), was transfered to the trademark owner.

7 years later, the same problems still occur. What's new in domain names litigation?
