The planned 40% cut in the cost of a CTM was introduced in early May. As from then, there is a single CTM fee of 900 euros for an application filed online. Under the transitional arrangements agreed, for applications currently in the pipeline, no registration fee will have to be paid.

A translation of the list of products and services must be provided when filing the trademark application, in the second language chosen for the procedure.
